Community members across Victoria are on the frontline of climate change impacts. Throughout our many trips, farmers and others have told us that climate change is changing the seasons.
For some this means increased drought, water scarcity, and crop failure, and others it means heightened risk of heatwaves and bushfires. What unites them all is the urgent need for governments to invest in climate change action.
The state government will hold info sessions on the grant scheme across Victoria. They're kicking off in Bendigo, before heading to Shepparton, Churchill, Melbourne, Wangaratta, Grovedale, Mildura, Warrnambool, Ballarat, and Horsham. Click here to RSVP to an info session in your region.
Attending an info session and putting in a grant application can be daunting for some. But we're here to help!
If you have a bright idea to prevent climate change from getting worse (such as local renewable energy projects) or protect communities from climate impacts (such as heatwave shelters) then we'd love to hear from you.
Please register below and we'll be in touch ASAP to help you develop an application.
