Over fifty community members gathered in St Kilda at the weekend to write a joint Earth Day Statement to Victoria’s political party leaders. 

With an election on the horizon and too much radio silence on climate change from state politicians, we need to raise our voices. 

We have an amazing photo of community members outside Melbourne's iconic Luna Park. 

How good would it be to see it in some local newspapers with a clear message for Members of Parliament and candidates: It's time to act on climate change!  

We need political parties to commit to ambitious Emissions Reduction Targets and to Victoria's first Climate Budget to supercharge our climate response.
