The Andrews government must announce Victoria's interim Emissions Reduction Targets for 2025 and '30 within ten parliamentary sitting days of March 31.
The announcement comes after an inspiring grassroots community campaign calling for Premier Dan Andrews to deliver science-based targets that help keep global warming below 1.5°C.

Our response depends on whether the government sets targets that are based on science or political expediency.
Will the day be remembered as a celebration of Victorian climate leadership?... Or for a protest registering discontent at a missed opportunity?...
The clock is ticking for the government to table the targets in the Parliament. This will occur some time between now and Thursday 6 Aug.
